Jean Walker-Sanders

Jean Walker-Sanders, 83 of Silsbee, TX died Sunday, December 3, 2017. A native of Taylorsville, MS she loved cooking, gardening and doing yardwork. Jean also liked to hunt and fish but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Jean is survived by 1 daughter; Karolyn Carpenter and her husband Thomas of Buna, 2 sons; Alton Sanders and his wife Cheryl of Orange Park, FL and Jimmy Sanders and his lifelong friend Melinda Riley of Silsbee. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law; Cindy Sanders of Vidor, 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her husband; Curley Sanders, 1 son; David Sanders, and 2 grandchildren; Lee and Shanna Sanders. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
