Jaycee "Jake" Leonard Carpenter

Jake Carpenter 71 of Orange died Sunday, August 26th, 2018 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, TX. He was a native and lifelong resident of Orange. Jake served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a owner/operator of the Mobil service station in Orange in the 70's and 80's and was a Dallas Cowboy fan. Visitation will held from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Graveside services ill be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange. Jake is survived by his sons William "Bubba" Bacon of Bridge City, TX, Jaycee Bacon of West Orange, TX, Jules Carpenter of West Orange, TX and daughter Sadie Carpenter of West Orange, TX, sisters Joy Bergeron of Deweyville, TX and Violet Trammel, brothers Penny "Jules" Carpenter of Bridge City, TX and Johnny Carpenter of Orange, TX. In lieu of flowers donations can be made toward the funeral expenses.
