Jane Trahan, aged 82, of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, June 29th, 2023, at her home. She was a beloved member of the Vidor community and had resided there for many years. Jane was a dedicated member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and held a deep faith in her heart.
Jane's love and devotion to her family were unparalleled. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and always put their needs above her own. Her son, Todd Trahan, lovingly cared for her.
Jane was a woman of many interests and passions. She had a flair for cooking and was known for her amazing culinary skills. Her family and friends were always delighted to enjoy her delicious meals. Jane also had a keen eye for fashion and enjoyed shopping. Eating out was another activity she relished, savoring the company of loved ones in the comfort of good food.
Traveling was an important part of Jane's life, as she enjoyed exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. Whether it was a trip abroad or a local adventure, she embraced each journey with enthusiasm. Additionally, Jane found fulfillment in her work and excelled in her profession. Her dedication and passion for her job were evident to all who knew her.
Jane's home was her sanctuary, where she created a warm and inviting environment. She took pride in her residence and found joy in maintaining a comfortable and welcoming space for her loved ones.
Visitation to honor Jane's memory will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM, also at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Following the service, Jane will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
In addition to her son Todd, Jane is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Trahan, and Mary's husband, Phillip Simmons, of Vidor, TX, sister, Judy Mansfield, and her husband, Bruce, who provided devoted care for her. Her brother, Tommy Lynn, and his wife, Marilyn, reside in Gramby, CO. Jane's legacy extends to her beloved grandchildren: Brandon and his wife, Krystal Trahan, Josh and his wife, Charlsie Trahan, and Amber Trahan. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren: Ayden Trahan, Peyton Trahan, Vayln Trahan, Sophia Trahan, and Cruz Trahan. Lastly, Jane's caretaker, Laura Sims, was a true blessing in her life, providing invaluable assistance and support.
Jane Trahan was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Francis Lynn, her husband, Ronnie Trahan, and her son, Keith Trahan. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. May her memory live on in the hearts of those she touched, and may she rest in eternal peace.
