James William 'Jw' Johnson

JW Johnson, 79, of Vidor died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his residence. A native of Sour Lake, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. JW was a retired operator in the construction industry. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, September 28, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. JW was preceded in death by his daughter Terrie Johnson. He is survived by his wife Jean Johnson, sons Jimmy Johnson and wife Tammy, Charles Johnson, Rodger Johnson and wife Lulu Bobbie, daughters Brenda Bailey, Sheila Lee Lewis, Charla Miller and husband Rich, Nadine Reed and husband Robert, brothers Ronnie Johnson, Leroy Johnson all of Vidor, TX, Billy Johnson of Buna, TX, Gilbert Johnson of Newton, TX, sister Geraldine Long of Vidor, 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
