James "Sonny" Herman Schnitz

Sonny Schnitz, 75 of Vidor died Friday, February 9th, 2018 at Vidor Health and Rehab Center. A native of Kerrville, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Sonny served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with cremation to follow. Sonny is survived by his daughter Missy Whitmire of Vidor, TX, brothers Avant Schnitz of Vidor, TX, John Paul Schnitz of Luling, TX, sisters Jo West of Gonzales, TX, Jane Clark of Vidor, TX, Mary Ann Salyer of Beaumont, TX and June Black of Gonzales, TX, 2 grandchildren.
