James Reagan Prevost

James R. Prevost, 73, of Vidor died Wednesday, August 24th, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, he lived in Athens, TX for over 30 years before moving back to Vidor several months ago. James is a member of Central Baptist Church in Vidor and loved to garage sale and fish. He was a sales associate with Groom & Sons Hardware Store in Mabank, TX for over 30 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Central Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. James is survived by his wife Lynda Prevost of Vidor, TX, son James Prevost and his wife Katerah of Gun Barrel City, TX, daughters Tammy Duvail and her husband David of Beaumont, TX, Elizabeth Foxworth and her husband Ricky of Vidor, TX, 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
