James Norris Bethancourt, Sr.

James N. Bethancourt, Sr., 89, of Vidor died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Saratoga, TX., he has lived in Vidor since1996, and was a retired self-employed restaurant owner. James was a 32nd degree mason. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. James was preceded in death by his wife Ivah Mae Virginia Bethancourt. James is survived by his son James (Jimmy) N. Bethancourt, Jr., of Vidor, daughters Elizabeth A. Croft of Vidor, Beverly Nance of Lumberton, three grandchildren: Rob Nance, Danica Nance, and Capri McCrate, and three great grandchildren: Trevor Nance, Easton McCrate, and Gracen McCrate.
