James Manuel Manchac

James M. Manchac passed away at his home on December 27, 2016. He was born on November 9th, 1930, to his parents, Joe Manchac and Frances Ann Falcon Manchac. He was a native of Trout Creek Community, Texas. James served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the Vidor Independent School District after thirty years service as a teacher. James was owner/operator of Manchac Real Estate. He is survived by his daughter Kathy Mcbryde and husband Billie Ray of Vidor, TX, granddaughters Wendy Lapeyrolerie and husband Michael of Rose City, TX, Lacey Cooke and husband Matthew of Vidor, TX, Marisa Manchac of College Station, TX, and much loved great grandson Brody Seven Cooke. James was preceded in death by his wife Sue Plunkett Manchac, son James Manchac and daughters Frances Manchac and Della Manchac. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, December 30, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Trout Creek Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
