James Joseph 'Doc' Blanchard

James 'Doc' Blanchard, 77, of Vidor died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at his residence. A native of Port Arthur, he has lived in Vidor since 1962, and was a retired supervisor with Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Doc was preceded in death by his daughter Toya Ann Blanchard, and his parents Joseph and Eunice Blanchard. Doc is survived by his wife Mary Blanchard of Vidor, daughters Terri Blanchard Talley of Mauriceville, Tina Marie Blanchard Fisher of Monument, CO., and Patricia LeBlanc of Winnie, brothers Richard Blanchard of Odessa, TX., and Pete Blanchard of Ruidoso, NM., sisters Margaret Pellerin of Orangefield, and Ellen Springfield of Odessa, four grandchildren: Jacob Talley, Mariah Calvert, Matthew LeBlanc, and Courtney LeBlanc, and one great grandchild: Daniel Talley.
