James "Jim" Paul Bentsen

Jim Bentsen, 54, died Monday, September 12th, 2016 at his home. He was a native of Northridge, CA and a longtime resident of Vidor. Jim was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church who liked to fish, go boating on the river and hanging out with his family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a Rosary service at 5:00 p.m.. His funeral service will be Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Jime is survived by his loving wife Maggie Bentsen of 28 years, 2 daughters, Kelly Guarnere and her husband Michael of Vidor and Katie Bentsen and fiancee' Andy Brown of Vidor, a nephew, Matt McCain and his wife Jolene and their son Caleb of Magnolia, TX, 2 sisters, Sheri Kelly and Kimberly Williams and his father, James Bentsen. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Streat. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
