James Jason Kight

Jason Kight, 54 of Lumberton died Monday, June 8th, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Pasadena, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Lumberton. Jason was a Senior Project Manager for Colgan, Ind. in Beaumont since 2012. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved to swim and hang out with his kids. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 12, 2020 at Fountain Cemetery in Starks, LA. Jason is survived by his wife of 26 years Paula Kight of Lumberton, TX, son James Blake Kight and his fiance Ashley McGilberry of Lumberton, TX, daughter Brittany Don Kight-Johnson and her fiancee Kirby Johnson of Beaumont, TX, mother Jacklyn Kight of Lumberton, TX, sisters Fonda Annette Kerslake and her husband Walter of Martindale, TX, Gina Marie Fidge and her husband Dennis of Conroe, TX, He is preceded in death by his father James Edward Kight and nephew Jacob Dean Fidge.
