Jack Daughtry Ham

October 20, 1924 — February 10, 2009

Jack D. Ham, 84 of Beaumont died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Westview Manor Nursing Home in McGregor, Texas. A native of Hagerman, NM., he lived in Beaumont for 30 years, before moving to McGregor 2 months ago. He was a retired insurance sales with Washington National, and served his country in the United States Marine Corp during WWII. He was a member of the Beaumont Masonic Lodge. Graveside services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2009 at Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Madelyn Ham, two daughters Jackelyn Roberts, and Barbara Lewis. He is survived by his daughters Patricia Terraso of Meadows Place, TX., Mary C. Harrison of Houston, and Nancy L. Allmon of Waco, TX., son Jack Stevens of LaGrange, TX., brother Ford E. Ham, Sr. of Elkhart, TX., sisters Cordie Wallace of Boling, TX., Jesse Brezik of Houston, and Robbie Walden of Overton, TX., nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
