J C Williams

J C Williams, 75, of Vidor died Friday, January 21, 2005 at his residence. A native of Taylorsville, MS., he has lived in Vidor for 40 years, and was retired from the United States Military. J C proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII, and the Korean Conflict. J C was a life member of the Village Mills VFW Post, and a past commander of the Vidor VFW Post. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. J C is survived by his wife of 51 years Juanita Williams of Vidor, sons, Dennis Platt of Kountze, TX., and Jay C. Williams of Vidor, daughters, Patricia Caraway of Silsbee, TX., and Janis Myers of Lumberton, TX., brother, James M. Williams of Jackson, MS., ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
