Irene Lakey Bailey

Irene Lakey Bailey, 82, of Vidor died Monday, November 17, 2008 at her residence. A native of Ashland, Oklahoma, she has lived in Vidor for 51 years. Irene was a retired sales clerk with Bealls Department Store after 15 years. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church of Vidor, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 914 of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Irene was preceded in death by her first husband Bob Lakey. She is survived by her husband of 15 years Jeff Bailey of Vidor, son Bobby Lakey, daughter Nancy Fleeman of Washington State, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
