HUGH “PETE” HANEY, 86, of Vidor died Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at his residence in Vidor, TX. A native of Nacogdoches County, TX., he has lived in Vidor since 1935, and retired from Unocal after 28 years as a assistant operator. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife Rosalie Haney of Vidor, TX., sons David K. Haney Of Vidor, TX., and Don A. Haney of Katy, TX., and four grandchildren: Kristin Johnson, Trey Haney, Brian Haney, and Elizabeth Haney.
