Homer T. Young

Homer T. Young, 78, of Vidor died Monday, March 17, 2008 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Evadale, TX, he was a longtime resident of Evadale before moving to Vidor 3 years ago. Homer was a Heavy Equipment Operator and served his country in the US Army During the Korean Conflict. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna at 12:00 p.m.. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Homer is survived by his sons Charles Young of Deweyville, TX, Randy Young of Vidor, TX, Carl Warner of Buna, TX, Margaret Naquin of Vidor, TX, Shirley Sellers of Bridge City, TX, Carolyn Pommier of Vidor, TX, Faye Lovell of Mauriceville, TX, brother Bord D. Young of Silsbee, TX, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
