Hilton L. Simmons, 63, of Humble died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at his residence. A native of Beaumont he has lived in Vidor since 1994 until one month ago when he moved to Humble, TX. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Graveside services will begin at 12:45 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2006 at the Veterans Cemetery in Houston, TX . Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his sons David Levell Simmons, Sr of Humble, William Matthew Simmons of Chelsea, AL., and Daniel Ray Simmons of Broussard, LA., daughters Adarena “Missy” Elizabeth Duhon of Youngsville, LA., Amelia Marie Mowry of Lake City, FL., and Marissa Annette Landry of Youngsville, LA., brothers Harvey Joseph Simmons of Pasadena, TX., Claude Thomas Simmons of Kamiah, ID., and Edward Eugene Simmons of Birmingham, AL., sisters Bernice Adrine Simmons of Birmingham, AL., and Rita Kay Harvey of San Antonio, TX., and fourteen grandchildren.
