Herbert Thomas Larkin

Herbert T. Larkin, 88, of Vidor, Texas died Monday December 1, 2003 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. Born in Tyler County on November 29, 1915 to Roger and Dollie Larkin. He lived in Warren for the first 38 years of his life before moving to Vidor were he lived for the past 34 years. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation on January 31, 1982. He was married to Betty Rae William from February 14, 1964 until her death in June of 2002. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday December 3, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 2, 2003 at the funeral home. Herbert is survived by his two daughters: Wanda Cleveland and Marie Corbell both of Beaumont, TX., step-daughters: Brenda Lane of Deer Park, TX., Nancy Morgan of Victoria, TX., Linda Lakey of Brookeland, TX., 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and several caring neighbors.
