Helen Marie Welch

Helen M. Welch, 81, of Vidor died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Deweyville, she has lived in Vidor for 54 years, and was a retired custodian with Vidor Independent School District after 11 years of faithful service. She was a 1943 graduate of Starks High School in Starks, LA. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Helen was preceded in death by her son Michael Welch. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Roger Welch of Vidor, sons Dale Welch and his wife Wonda and Billy Welch and his wife Debbie all of Vidor, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
