Helen C. Erwin, 87 of Vidor died Monday, March 4th, 2019 at her residence. A native of Bethlehem, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Helen was a member of River of Life Church in Vidor and was a devoted member. She enjoyed plants and flowers, she also enjoyed poetry especially by Helen Stein Rice. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 8, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Helen was preceded in death by her Parents Wesley and Lorene Shaw, husband Dalton Erwin, son Ronnie Erwin, brother Audry Shaw, 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter. She is survived by her sons Rickey Erwin and his wife Shirley of Vidor, TX, Johnny Erwin and his wife Brenda of Brodhead, KY, brothers Fred Shaw of Ft. Worth, TX, and Chesley Shaw and his wife Annette of Hurst, TX, sisters Lometa Edwards of Red Oak, TX, Nell Molidor of Whitney, TX, Linda Everly of Grand Prairie, TX, Maxine Roeder of Hillsboro, TX, grandchildren Sherry Palombo and her husband Keith of Port Neches, TX, Dayna Scarbrough of Vidor, TX, Melissa Noe of Crab Orchard, KY, Paula Brown and her husband Pat Winchester, KY, JW Erwin and his wife Grace of Mt. Vernon, KY, Brandon Erwin of Phoenix, AZ, Bryan Erwin of San Antonio, TX, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
