Harris Emery Willey

Harris E. Willey, 86, of Mauriceville died Tuesday July 15, 2003 at The Clairmont in Beaumont, TX. Harris was a native and a lifelong resident of Mauriceville, TX. He was a self employed timber consultant, a member of the Vidor Masonic Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite. Harris served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard during WW II. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Mauriceville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday July 17, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Jett Cemetery in Orange, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday July 16, 2003 at the funeral home. Harris is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Don and Liz Willey of Mauriceville, TX., brother: Erine Willey of Orange, TX., 2 grandchildren: Nikki Robin and Shawn Willey both of Mauriceville, TX., 1 great-grandson: Zachary Robin.
