Harriet Beth Cary, 82, a lifelong resident of Vidor, Texas, died August 12th, 2023, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She was a devoted member of St. Helens Catholic Church in Orangefield and found joy in her faith and community.
Harriet had a passion for sewing and cooking, which she lovingly shared with her family. Her family meant everything to her, and her heart of gold left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Arrangements are being handled by Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, and she will be laid to rest at Mary Williams Cemetery in Orangefield. Harriet is survived by her daughter, LeAnn Cary of Vidor, TX, and her sisters: Carole Maida, Marsha Riddle, Suzie Mansfield, and Jeanie Pedigo. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Wesley Cary, her parents, Russell Truett Granger and Erma Lee Granger, and her sister, Margaret Pate of Woodville, Texas. Harriet Beth Cary will be remembered for her kind and loving nature, her dedication to family, and her talents that brought warmth to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
