Grover Muriel Mansfield

Grover M. Mansfield, 79, of Vidor died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Vidor. He was a retired Pipefitter with Local #195 and he was a member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Mansfield Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home, and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2008 at Eastgate Pentecostal Church of Vidor. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. William and Martha Mansfield, brother Norman Mansfield, sister Doris Mitchell, and one grandson Robert Mansfield. Grover is survived by his wife Nada 'Bonnie' Mansfield of Vidor, sons Dana Mansfield of Orange, Gary Mansfield, Randy Mansfield and his wife Judy, and Clay Mansfield and his wife Brenda all of Vidor, daughters Sherry Williams and her husband Odell of Buna, and Brenda Smith and her husband Danny Sr. of Vidor, sisters Nadine Wilder and Melba Whatley both of Vidor, grandchildren: Tina Nichols, Danny Smith, Jr., Brenda Walden, Amanda Williams, Chad Mansfield, Tara Vincent, Grover Mansfield, Brandie Mansfield, Jessica Mansfield, Brian Williams, Julie Smith, Kellie Mansfield, Victoria Mansfield, and Randy Mansfield, Jr., great grandchildren: Tristyn Monson, Rhett Ramey, Marisa Patrick, Hunter Williams, Danny Smith, III, Ashley Smith, Nathan Smith, Katelyn Vincent, Gracie Vincent, Emily Vincent, Joshua Morgan, Jr., Maddie Morgan, Lucas Morgan, Erina Walden, Abbygail Walden, Dalton Mansfield, Micah Mansfield, Mason Smith, Wyatt Dial.
