Gregory "Greg" Evans

Gregory Leon Evans, 55, a longtime resident of Vidor died Tuesday, November 10th, 2015 in Beaumont. Greg proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He loved to ride motorcycles, watching baseball and listening to music but he especially loved to spend quality time with his children and grandson. Greg is survived by 2 daughters, Leona Evans and Mary Loveda Evans both of Vidor, 1 son, Joseph Slovacheck of Town Bluff, TX, and his grandson, Payton Miles Reed. He is also survived by his parents, Robert and Mary Evans of Vidor and 1 sister, Cathy Handford of Huntsville, AL. Greg was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Lea Evans. Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home.
