Glenda Sue Talbert

Glenda Sue Talbert, 55, of Vidor died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Her residence. Sue was born on June 11, 1951 in Monroe, Louisiana. She was a resident of Vidor for over 50 years. Her and her husband owned and operated Talbert Farms for more than 20 years. Together they developed one of the largest mayhaw producing farms in the state. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Glenda was preceded in death by her son Troy Talbert and her sister Marilyn Eaves. She is survived by her husband Bobby Talbert, son Paul Talbert, daughter Lora Schick, brothers Billy and Sam Taylor, sisters: Judy Laffoon and Sherry Brown all of Vidor, TX, grandchildren Ashley Talbert, Shane Talbert, Hayle Schick and Leah Schick.
