Glenda Linscomb, 77, of Vidor, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Houston Methodist Hospital. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Glenda lived a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family and community.
A longtime resident of Vidor, Glenda was a proud and active member of Victory Temple Church in Beaumont. Her faith was central to her life, and she found great joy in her role as an avid church member. As a homemaker, Glenda created a warm and loving home where her family could thrive. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, often making family gatherings special with her kindness and nurturing spirit.
Glenda is survived by her sons, Marlon Linscomb of Vidor, Texas, and Darin Linscomb and his wife, Jessica, also of Vidor; her sister, Anna LaVelle Brown of Kountze, Texas; and her cherished grandchildren, Jaykob Espinoza, Braysen Cudd, and Karsen Cudd. Her legacy of love and faith will live on in their hearts. Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Ricky Linscomb, son Weldon Richard Linscomb, brother Butch Werner and sister Laverne Ricks.
Her life was a testament to the power of faith, family, and service. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
