Gertrude Marie Stuckey

Gerty Stuckey, 77, of Vidor died Monday, January 21, 2008 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, she was a longtime resident of Vidor, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vidor. She was preceded in death by her parents Rodgers and Mary Hargraves, daughter Linda Faye Stuckey, and granddaughter Kamisha Block. She is survived by her sons Steve Gordon Stuckey of Dayton, TX., John Edward Stuckey, James Wayne Stuckey, and Terry Stuckey all of Vidor, daughters Mary Lou Vella of Vidor, Katherine Byerley of Huffman, TX., Arlene Carol Conn of Vidor, Darlene Ellaine Gillis of Starks, LA., and Jane Block of Vidor, brothers Rodger Hargraves of Rose City, TX., and Freddie Hargraves of Winnie, TX., sister Opal Fay Broussard of Jennings, LA., seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
