Gertrude Luella Sharp, 83, of Vidor died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at her resident. A native of Stillwater, Oklahoma, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Gertrude was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering of Family and Friends will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, January 7, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband Marshall S. Sharp. She is survived by her sons Marshall Sharp of Bridge City, TX, Chris Sharp of Releigh, SC, Elvin Sharp of Vidor, Texas, daughters Theresa Walker of Sulfur, LA, Rose Armer of Village Mills, TX, Miechael Eaves of Vidor, Texas, Connie LoBue of Vidor, TX, Trudie Ranchez of Pensacola, FL, Mary Fairchild of Deweyville, TX, Alice Courmier of Vidor, TX, brothers John Powers of Black Water, OK, Eugene Powers of Stillwater, OK, sister Lillian Frye of Oklahoma City, OK, 21 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
