Geral Duane Lawhon Sr.

Geral Lawhon, Sr. 76, of Vidor died Sunday, September 17th, 2017 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home. A native of Cunningham, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Geral coached Little League baseball in Vidor and South Park in Beaumont for 40 years and was an avid Houston Astros fan. He loved spending quality time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor and graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Geral is survived by his wife of 60 years Betty Lawhon, daughters Tammy Reynolds and husband Butch, Cindy Whitman and husband David, Twana Brinlee and husband Greg, son, Duane Lawhon and wife Lori all of Vidor, TX, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 4 sisters.
