George Vernon Gingrich

Vernon Gingrich, 78, of Vidor died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Harbor Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Covington County, MS, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Vernon was a retired house painter and served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Cremation arrangement were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Vernon is survived by his wife Dortha Gingrich, sons George Dale Gingrich and Vernon Gale Gingrich of MS, Douglas Gingrich and Donny Gingrich of TX, daughters Darlene Thompson, Tracy Glover and Tammy Lott all of MS, brother C.M. Gingrich of MS, sisters Victoria Bryant and Nell Clinton of MS, Esther Dickens of TX, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
