George John Roman Sr.

George J. Roman Sr., 85, of Vidor died Saturday, December 19th, 2015 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Bradford County, Pennsylvania, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. George was a retired salesman and served his country in the US Marine Corps as a corp. man during the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post #5348 and American Legion Post #0094. George loved working in his yard. Cremation arrangements were intrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, December 29, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. George was preceded in death by his wife Irma Roman, parents George Roman and Anita Sosnicki, sisters Eleanor Monaco and Trudy Deneen. He is survived by his daughter Patti Wilcox and her husband Terry of Vidor, TX, son George J. Roman Jr. of Alvin, TX, 3 grandchildren, Tara Wilcox, Tyler Roman, Samantha Hill and 4 nieces.
