George H. Bloth, 86, of Vidor died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at his residence. A native of Dover, Delaware he has lived in Vidor since 1967 and was a retired mechanic with Transit Mix after 18 years of faithful service. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of the 3rd Armor Division. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation to follow at S I Crematory in Beaumont, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Louise Bloth. He is survived by his son William Bloth and his wife Debbie of Kirkwood, PA., daughters Katharine Redman and her husband Ronnie of Kilgore, TX., Susan Robinson and her husband Charles of Village Mills, TX., and Deborah Post and her husband John of Slidell, LA., six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to: The Vidor Public Library, 440 E. Bolivar, Vidor, Texas 77662, or a charity of your choice.
