George Brister

December 23, 1931 — July 3, 2004

Buddy Brister, 72, of Evadale died Saturday, July 3, 2004 St Luke Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX. Buddy was a longtime residence of Vidor before moving to Evadale 15 years ago. He was a retired plant supervisor at commercial metals in Beaumont. Buddy was a member of Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church in Silsbee and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2004 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor. Buddy is survived by his wife of 45 years Wilda Brister of Evadale, TX., son: David Ludolph and his wife Ann of DeRidder, LA., daughter: Debra Johnson and her husband James of Silsbee, TX., brothers: Bobby Brister, Rodger Brister both of Vidor, TX., grandchildren: Angie Ramirez, Ashley Barber, and Alan Johnson.
