George "Billy" Simmons, Sr.

George "Billy" Simmons, Sr., 61, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, April 25th, 2017 in Beaumont, TX. Billy was a lifelong resident of Vidor and a member of the "Big H" car club in Vidor. He loved drag racing, going to car shows and fishing. Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Billy is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Dorothy Simmons, 2 daughters; Missy Ferguson and her husband Garon of Orangefield, TX and Jessie-Ann Miller and her husband Joseph of Vidor, 1 son; George William Simmons Jr. and his wife Ashley of Vidor, 10 grandchildren and 1 sister; Sandy Stanley of Phoenix, AZ. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; George and Joyce Simmons and 1 brother; Dave Albert Simmons.
