Gayle Lea Cryer

Gayle L. Cryer, 68, of Vidor died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, Gayle was a longtime resident of Vidor and a retired custodian with VISD. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Gayle is survived by her husband Johnie Cryer of Vidor, son Michael Cryer of Crockett, TX., daughter Michelle Harrington of Vidor, brothers Raymond Schmidt of Vidor, and Donald Schmidt of Kirbyville, sisters Carolyn Byrd of Silsbee, Sandra Delaughter of Baytown, and Debbie Beard of Beaumont, two granddaughters and six great grandchildren.
