Gatherine Ebarb Smith

Gatherine E. Smith, 78, of Vidor died Monday, December 2, 2013 at her residence. A native of Noble, LA., she was a longtime resident of Vidor, and a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Gatherine was preceded in death by her husband Willie Paul Smith. Gatherine is survived by her sons Mike Smith and wife Penny of Vidor, Ricky Smith all of Vidor, daughters Mary Ann Collins and husband Lee, Wanda Jarrell and husband Ronald Sr., Theresa David and husband Steven all of Vidor, step-son Allen Ray Smith of LA., and step-daughter Kathleen Fontenot and husband Bruce of LA., brothers Joe Ebarb of Franklin, TN., Ira Ebarb, Jr., Earl Ebarb, and Silas Ebarb all of Zwolle, LA., sisters Alda Mae Jerles of Humble, TX., and Evie Spiegel of Wichita, KS., twenty grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
