Gary Michael Smith

Gary M. Smith, 64 of Vidor died Tuesday, August 4th, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Gary was a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor. He was an avid deer hunter and loved spending time with family and friends. Gary was a member of the Local Carpenters Union and was a self employed carpenter contractor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, August 7, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Gary is survived by his wife of 30 years Nora Smith of Vidor, TX, children Christy Flowers of Honey Island, TX, Donea Smith of Jasper, TX, Christy Feagin of Vidor, TX, Justin Smith of The Woodlands, TX, Angie Zabish of Beaumont, TX, sisters Linda Osborne of San Augustine, TX, Gale Hergert of Mauriceville, TX, brother Danny Smith of Mauriceville, TX, 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
