Gary "Bit" Humberson, 66, died Monday, February 1st, 2016 in Beaumont. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor and served his country during Viet Nam as a Sgt. in the U.S. Army where he was an exceptional soldier. Bit was a member of Turning Point Church and his passion was hunting and fishing especially with his friend Dale Williams and his brothers. He was a God fearing man who loved to be around his family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, February 5, 2016 at Turning Point Church in Vidor with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Bit is survived by his daughter, Shannon Lynn Bourque and husband Scott of Kirbyville, sons, Robert Daniel Humberson and John Derrick Humberson and was blessed with two additional sons. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Shirley Brindley, Brenda Bonin, and Susie Manning, and 5 brothers, Johnny Humberson, Marion "Bubba" Humberson, Michael Humberson, David Humberson and Terry Humberson. Bit was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Rhonda Humberson, brother, Sam Humberson, Jr., his father, Sam Humberson, Sr. and mother Imogene Tubbs Humberson.
