Gabriel Villafano

Gabriel "Gabby" Villafano, 79 of Vidor died Friday, July 31st, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a native and lifelong resident of Vidor. Gabby was a retired paint and body worker for Glen Sheffield's Paint and Body Shop in Port Neches. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working outdoors. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Gabby was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his family and his goal in life was to be surrounded by them to the very end. So much so, 40 years ago, he purchased 10 acres of land in Vidor so that he could have his children live near him. All 6 children currently live on those 10 acres. Gabby is survived by his wife of 60 years, Penny Villfano, son Richard Villafano Sr, daughter Rachel Villafano and fiancé Wilburn Jones, son Nicholas Villafano and wife Lisa, daughter Amanda Carreon, son Mark Villafano and wife Tyra and daughter Rosanna Mojica and husband Joe all from Vidor, 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren along with his sisters, Connie Carreon and husband Jose of China, TX, Vivian Manriquez of Vidor, TX, and Martha Archibeque and husband Archie of Seguin, TX.
