Freida Marie Scott

Freida M. Scott, 89, of Vidor died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her residence. A native of Welch, LA, she was raised in Fenton, LA. Freida was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. She was switch board operator for Sears. Freida was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a great server of people. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 2:00 pm at LeBleu Cemetery in Fenton, LA. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and a rosary at 7:00 pm Friday, February 1, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Freida was preceded in death by her son William 'Bill' Scott. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Leonard Scott, sons David Scott of San Antonio, TX, Gregory Scott of Vidor, TX, Leonard Scott of Pearland, TX, daughters Mary Brown of Vidor, TX, Patricia Kirkpatrick of Odessa, TX, Angie Drab of Pearland, TX, 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
