Frederica "Freddie" M. Peck

Frederica "Freddie" Maureen Peck, 87, of Vidor, TX died Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at Vidor Health and Rehab. She was born on September 12th, 1932 to Otha and Beulah Oldbury in DeRidder, LA. Freddie was a longtime resident of Vidor and graduate of Vidor High School Class of 1950. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints and enjoyed sewing quilts and cooking but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2020 beginning at 6:00p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 10:00a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Freddie is survived by 2 daughters; LInda Arnold and her husband Johnny of Glendale, AZ and Tami Peck and her husband Allen of Vidor, 8 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Joissine Tucker and Nelwyn Marion, 3 brothers; Burdette Oldbury, Delmer Oldbury and his wife Elaine, and Blaine Oldbury, and 1 sister-in-law; Mary Oldbury. Freddie was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Peck, 1 son; Duane Peck, 1 sister; Modesta Willey and 2 brothers; Dean Oldbury and Blue Oldbury. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
