Fred Baker Marsh, Sr.

Fred B. Marsh, Sr., 76, of Vidor died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Vicksburg, MS., he has lived in Vidor since 1998 and was a oilfield floor hand with Wactor Oilfield Services. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Fred is survived by his wife Catherine Marsh of Vidor, sons David Lynn Marsh of Vidor, Jerry Marsh of Beaumont, and Fred Baker Marsh, Jr., of Mauriceville, daughter Christal Simmons of Vidor, brothers Bobby Joe Marsh of Mauriceville, Billy Wayne Marsh of Morgan City, LA., John Henry Marsh of Houston, Jessie Lee Marsh of Iowa, sisters Joyce Ann McVay, and Mary Louise Marsh both of McComb, MS., Helen Faye Owenby, and Katherine Ann Marsh both of Fireball, CA., thirteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
