Frances Nell Martin

Frances Nell Martin, 79, of Vidor died Monday, October 9, 2006 at Continue Care Hospital in Orange. A native of Bay City, TX, she lived in Vidor for 48 years. Frances was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member Oak Wood Baptist Church in Mauriceville and a member of Clover Leaf Homemaker Extension Club. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Singleton Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation was held Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Frances was preceded in death her son Clint Martin. She is survived by her husband Pennie Martin, son Gene Martin and his wife Janet, daughter Beverly Strum and her husband Eddie all of Vidor, TX, brothers Dean Callaway of San Antonio, TX, Sherman Callaway of Denver City, TX, Tilman Callaway of Palo Alto, CA, 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
