Floyd "Bud" Keith Bryan

Bud Bryan, 86, of Vidor went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 1, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. Bud was a volunteer at the Christian Care Center and several committees at First Baptist Church. He served on the City Council from 1960 - 1976 when the city of Vidor was first incorporated and was on the board of the Vidor Athletic Booster Club in the 1960's and 1970's. Bud retired from Union Oil after 30+ years as a supervisor. Bud served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Burial To follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Bud is survived by his daughter Kaye Guthrie and husband Merv of Vidor, grandsons Chad Norman of Crosby, TX, Andrew Guthrie and wife Samantha of Saint Mary's, GA, great grandson Caleb Guthrie, great granddaughter Aria Guthrie, sister Ruby Foreman of Vidor, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Janice Bryan.
