Fay L. Wooden

Fay Wooden, 66, a lifelong resident of Vidor, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Fay dedicated many years of her life to the U.S. Postal Service, working in the sorting department before retiring after 21 years. She found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was cheering on her favorite horses at the races, crafting beautiful creations, or simply spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Known for her generosity, she had a heart for giving and took great joy in finding the perfect gifts for those she loved.

She is survived by her son, Brannon Wooden of Kemah, TX; her brother, Robert "Bob" Lee Viator Jr. of Vidor, TX; and her cherished grandchildren, Brityn Buffamonte of Killeen, TX, Bailey Wooden of Vidor, TX, and Kamdyn Wooden of Vidor, TX.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents Robert Sr. and Dorothy Viator.

Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and love for her family will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
