Eve Escamilla,80, of Vidor died Saturday January 24, 2009 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Port Arthur, TX she has lived in Vidor for 46 years. Eve was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. Funeral liturgy outside mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Christian Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Sunday January 25, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Eve is survived by her husband Joe Escamilla, Sr. of Vidor, TX. Sons Richard Escamilla of Pittsburg, TX., Joe Escamilla Jr. of Jacksonville, TX., Ronnie Escamilla of Orange, TX., and Michael Escamilla of Fort Worth, TX., daughters Irene Wright of Beaumont, TX., Cynthia Escamilla and Sylvia Marks both of Vidor, TX., sisters Hazel Viator of Winnie, TX., Jean Davis of Port Neches, TX., Jeanette Robbins of Newton, TX., and Gladys Dutch Champagne of Port Acres, TX., 15 Grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren.
