Eva P. Gallier, 85 of Vidor died Monday, October 4th, 2021 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Eva was a lifetime resident of Vidor, Texas. During her working days, Eva was the owner/manager of the Vidor Health Food and Christian Book Store in Vidor. In this position she quickly became a “therapist" and prayer warrior to many of her customers and friends.
She attended The First Christian Church of Vidor during her younger years and then became involved with The Assembly of God Church in Vidor. She enjoyed oil painting, reading the Bible and spiritual books and listening to books on tape. And she loved music. Most of all Eva loved spending time with her family and with her passing, ended an entire generation being one of seven children. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Al Draper of Wylie, Texas, and nephew/long-time best friend of Eva’s will officiate the service. Eva was preceded in death by her husband Joe Gallier Jr., daughter Carolyn Freeman Mabry, grandson Jeremy Freeman, parents Oscar and Pearl Cash, brother Leroy Cash, sisters Eloise Wilkerson, Hazel Heider, Lilly Bell Jones, Mary Draper and Edith Brown. She is survived by her daughters Connie Koch Harrell and husband Larry of Henderson, NV, Cindy Fraley of Vidor, TX, 5 grandchildren Benjamin Freeman and wife Trudi, Carinda Salomon and husband Peter, Christin Proctor, Wesley Koch, and T.J. Fraley, 4 great grandchildren Kyan Proctor, Bradley Litterio, Alex Freeman, and Doughton Reeves.
