Eunice Marie Medley

Eunice Simmons-Medley, 80, of Vidor, TX died Wednesday, July 17th, 2019 at home. A native of Newton, TX she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Eunice was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and for many years served as the church secretary. She enjoyed traveling, working puzzles and going hunting and fishing but she especially enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, July 19, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Eunice is survived by her loving husband of 63 years; Buddy Medley, 1 daughter; Melanie Lindsey, 2 sons; Gary Medley and his wife Penny, and Jerry Medley and his wife Leni, all of Vidor. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 brother; Arthur Simmons of Buna, TX. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; Troy and Nova Simmons.
