Essie Stanley

Essie Mae Stanley, 94, of Vidor died Monday June 20th, 2016 at her residence. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a homemaker. Essie enjoyed gardening, cooking and raising her children. She loved reading her Bible. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Essie is survived by her sons Billy Stanley, James Stanley both of Vidor, TX and Bobby Stanley of Lumberton, TX, daughters Ravanell Stanley, Johnnie Day both of Vidor., TX, Abbie Stanley Bland of Lumberton, TX, Kathy Martin and Sara Watson both of Vidor, TX, sister Lillie Baumann of Silsbee, TX, brother John Tarver of Buna, TX, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren.
