Emma Jane Hurst

Emma J. Hurst, 77, of Vidor died Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Lake Luzerne, NY., she has lived in Vidor for 30 years, she loved to play bingo, and was a homemaker. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Emma was preceded in death by her husband J. W. Hurst, III, and by her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons Raymond Vernum, Jr of Vidor, William Gary Vernum of Saratoga, NY., Brian Thomas Vernum of Livingston, TX., Brett Ryan Sonnier of Hankamer, TX., Kevin Brendan Sonnier of Huntsville, TX., step-son Jeffrey Hurst of CA., daughters Sheryl Flores of Vidor, Melanie Manriquez of Odessa, TX., and Brenda Danos of Vidor, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
